Freixenet are delighted to announce that we are the official wine partner of the 29th edition of the BFI Flare, Britain’s longest running and most popular LGBT film festival, offering "the best queer cinema all around the world".
From 19th -29th March, be ready to be introduced to “truly inspiring people, some real, some imagined, all of whom dare to be who they want to be, and who refuse to stop reaching their dreams”.
Films about Bodies, about Hearts and Minds; the festival is a remarkable occasion to explore the best documentaries, films, literature’s figures and a new pilot mentoring programme to keep supporting emerging LGBT filmmakers from the UK. Opening the festival will be the provocative I am Michael, fresh from its premiere in Sundance and starring James Franco and Zachary Quinto.
At Freixenet we are proud of our expertise, producing exceptional wines for over a century - Freixenet is approachable, easy-drinking and honest!! That’s why we are proud to be the partner of such a well-known organisation like the BFI. We also believe Freixenet embodies the spirit of being different and challenging conventions. What better way to toast our partnership than with Cordon Negro bubbles at every gala and special screening at this festival!
