The National Wedding shows are back this Autumn bringing to you the best experts and professionals from the industry. Freixenet will be again this year their wine sponsor, offering Freixenet bubbly to all the guests at the VIP area.
1. Hair is important.
Advising brides to be on choosing the right style for their day, Co-Founder of blow LTD Fiona McIntosh says: “Ultimately, bridal beauty is about making the bride look and feel amazing with the most uniquely flattering hair and makeup. It’s this inner confidence which will radiate from you on your Big Day.” This is: choose a hair style you are conmfrotable with and forget impossible trends and fashion catwalks.
2. Go back to the 60's with your dress
Fashion Stylist Claire Ginzler will present the Top 10 Dresses for Brides & Bridesmaids at The National Wedding Show and speaking of the top trends to look out for this season, Claire says: “The 60’s vibe is back, so hemlines are on the rise for 2016. Top trends include 3D effect floral laser cut applique or feather embellishment for a modern statement. Plunging necklines and thigh high slits are still a key look. For an alternative to a traditional dress look out for trouser suits, whether the elegant tux jacket teamed with a slim leg pant or the wider leg for a Boho style wedding”.
3. Constance is the key
Just be constant with your exercise routine in the build up to the big day. Easier said than done, but fitness experts at Barrecore believe “4 is the Magic Number! On average results increase by 50% if you increase your workouts from 3 per week to 4 per week so on the lead up to your big day go ahead and book in that extra class or take advantage of the fresh air and go for an extra head clearing run to get that 4th session in”.
4. Bubbly is always a good idea
Last but not least, the wine at your wedding is something everybody will take notice at. A glass of bubbly is just a celebration synonym so make sure you pick the right one. At Freixenet we recommend you to plan this well in terms of the amount of wine and how it will pair the menu. Our suggestion? Pick several wines depending on the occasion - for while getting ready, to pair with the mains, with desserts...- and don’t forget everybody likes cocktails for the party time. A premium sparkler like Elyssia Grand Cuvee for the reception toast is a must!
5. Waterproof is wise
Weddings can be emotional so make sure you are covered. International Make-up Artist for bareMinerals, SJ Froom explains the important of protecting your make-up “I would strongly recommend using waterproof mascara on the bride but also on the bridesmaids and mother of the bride!".
